Where we are now

Well, initially our hope was that we could use this blog to keep everyone up to date on how Abraham is growing. However, since so much time has passed since our last posting, I think it would be best if we just bring everyone up to speed on where we are and what the Lord is doing in our lives.

Right now we are trying to get ready for the busiest month we will have known since either Abraham was born or since we were married. We are finishing up our classes and getting ready to graduate this December.  Molly (my sister), Carol, and I will be graduating on December 10. Molly's wedding is on the 11th. Carol, Abraham, and I are going down to Florida for Christmas. When we get back, we will finish up all of our packing and blast off to Costa Rica where Carol will be attending language school.

Initially we planned to be in Costa Rica for about 8 months. It now looks as if we will be there for a year, unless the Lord intervenes. This means that our baby (who will born at the end of May there) will be about 7 months old when we leave Costa Rica. These thoughts are only just beginning to sink in.

We are so excited about this next step of life, even though it seems overwhelming at times. We are truly learning to walk in faith and dependence on the Lord in all of this.  We hope to keep everyone posted more frequently through our blog. We hope you will share in our journey with us by reading our blog and praying for us as we share our lives with you!
